I absolutely would recommend this mod kit to anyone that owns the 3rd gen A50’s. The noise canceling is definitely improved and even more noticeable than before and they feel great. If you also don’t want to be limited by battery life, then the A40 are a better option. The A50 have a well-balanced sound profile, but their soundstage isn’t as spacious as that of the open-back A40. The A50 are wireless-only while the A40 are wired only and have an open-back design. It feels good, sounds good, and has a very convenient charging base that’s been shrunk down from the last version.
